Frost & Sullivan and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT) concluded a leadership conclave, "Digital Nepal Conference" on August 03, 2018 at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu. With the underlying theme Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepal, the objective of Digital Nepal Conference was to accomplish and prioritize imperatives such as job creation, acceleration of growth, connected citizens, smart cities, and affordable and accessible healthcare. The key speakers from MoCIT and various industry sectors shared their valuable insights on pioneering futuristic and visionary thoughts to embrace innovative technologies for robust economic growth.
Frost & Sullivan concluded the first edition of Growth Innovation & Leadership (GIL) Council at Frost & Sullivan’s Office, Kathmandu, Nepal, on June 14, 2018. Executives from industries such as telecom, energy OEM, and system integration participated and discussed “Mega Trends and the Impact on Key Sectors in Nepal,” highlighting the influence of digitalization expected to fuel change across Nepal in every sector in the coming years.
The first edition of Centre for Visionary Leadership (CVL) was concluded by Frost & Sullivan at the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) on April 13, 2018. Srilatha Ramachandra Raju, Director and Head for CVL, conducted the training on growth through leadership development, with participants from industries across trading, banking and insurance. CVL’s Leadership Training and Executive Coaching focused on creating awareness of behavior that leads to effectiveness, empowering leaders with skills and knowledge and bringing about lasting changes in leadership style and behavior.
Frost & Sullivan concluded the second edition of its flagship summit—the 2018 Growth, Innovation and Leadership (GIL) Summit. GIL Summit South Asia was the first of its kind that took place at the Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu, on March 15, 2018. The summit’s theme, “Digital Transformation—Business and Social Impact,” featured inspiring keynote sessions by industry stalwarts, Frost & Sullivan's domain experts, and illustrious panelists. Over 25 industry luminaries presented topical insights and more than 150 delegates came together to envisage a Digital South Asia. The summit was followed by the 2018 South Asia Best Practices (BP) Awards Banquet, which recognized and awarded companies and individuals from South Asia who excelled in their respective sectors.
